Committees

The RI Commission on Women carries out its responsibilities through the work of its committees and the important projects and initiative coordinated by the committees. Each is chaired by a Commissioner and comprised of numerous other volunteers from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. These many individuals contribute to the successful endeavors of RICW through their invaluable donation of time and expertise to the committees and projects, and for their unwavering commitment to the women and girls of Rhode Island.

Currently active committees are:

• Community Outreach
• Education Committee
• Education Awards Advisory Committee
• Health Committee
• Legislative and Legal Rights Committee

Committees have regularly scheduled meetings.
